Let's take it all off! Woo!
Overview
We just know it's possible to take off the cover of the Fin in less than 5 minutes, but can you do it? The top times will be posted below! This is ongoing and at some time in the future we may have actual prizes for contests, but right now this is just for prestige and fun.
Rules
1. Points will be given. 10 points max for an introduction. 10 points max for style. 10 points max for video quality. 20 points max for explaining the process during or after. Points are combined with the time. 5 minutes is 300 seconds is 0 points. 0 time is 300 points. Obviously 350 points max right now.
2. You must show that it is actually a Fin and then keep it on screen the entire time from then (yes it has to be before you start your time!), otherwise you'll just be listed at the end with a "possible fastest time". If you get this type of rating just ask me and then remake the vid. No big deal.
3. You must list the start and end times either here or there. Otherwise I'll count the entire video time.
4. After a while, to be determined, this will be simply a timed run. We may have prizes then though!

Okay, maybe a dumb question: why are we taking the cover off? Can you change faceplates on this phone?
The backplate is a bit difficult to take off. We're doing a challenge for fun. I doubt you can change faceplates, but you can change silicone skins of course. |

ok i've opened my battery cover in less than a heartbeat before.. but that was by mistake. today i'm TRYING to open it and its been 10 minutes already!  gosh..everything is goin wrong today. lol |

Hey guys, you mean the back cover right?
If so, I can do it fairly easily every time. What I do is I take my left thumb and pull up with my thumbnail where the hole for the camera is, and with my right thumb push up on the back right below where it says 'samsung'.
Works for me everytime.
