So we were at MobileFocus last night, and at the Samsung table we found MetroPCS' entry into touchscreen handsets, the Samsung Finesse. We think Samsung may have been just as surprised as us that this set was on the table, though, they did take the time to wander us through some of its features on video. The set is nice, response times in the OS seem decent, though some of the touted "Touch-me" was tough to get going. The finesse is available immediately from MetroPCS for $349 off-contract, of course. We've covered the specs, so that just leaves you with the option of clicking through to get the full audio and video experience.

How much did you pay for your 16g? The nav zoom is pretty good and is a little quicker I think than the 411 zoom. Yet the first map load in 411 I find faster than the nav's. Plus I think you can use a map website if neither of the other two work. Anyone tried that yet?

I just can't get around why they disabled youtube though. The only other con is the battery life.

There's a few things missing. I find PhoneDog's to be a bit more full spec.

You might add that for 4.00 you can get accidental damage coverage from MPCS.

Don't forget to turn location off too. That saves a lot of power.
