i've been trying to decide on a new phone and plan lately.  i am leaning towards straight talk cuz its such a good deal but their phone selection isn't great.  the finesse is the best one they have but its already been out for a year or so right?  is it still worth the $330 for it if it is gonna be outdated as soon as i get it?

I don't think you should get it. I would get this instead.

I regret buying the finesse. Just because there really isn't anything different from all the other phones besides its a touchscreen. I wish I saved my money and just got a cheaper phone instead. (:

I agree It was a waste of money for me too. For a smartphone it has no functional options. Just alot of useless crap that nobody uses. And you can't download apps to it. I would have much rather of gotten a cheaper phone as well. Don't waste your money.

I would say if we as a community can ever get it to do java, and you're willing to mod it to get those capabilities, then the Fin might be worth it.

NO it isn't worth it.

You can get a cheaper phone and just grab an Ipod Touch or something, because the finesse is a WAY over priced touch screen, and thats all. It comes with a few widgets like facebook, but you can't get anymore, can't download much of anything, can't watch streaming videos....can't even check my old aol email on it. The price plan is VERY nice, but the phone is a HUGE RIPOFF, I have one that I'm stuck with but if I could do it over again, I'd just grab a cheaper phone and pick up an ipod touch.

I don't know know where you are, but if you're with Metro, they now have the Code, which looks like a much better phone, end price being $159 after rebates.  Not bad.  And now $40 period monthly (new accts only of course).
