Has anybody heard about youtube finally being available for the metropcs samsung finesses?
I was wondering because i've heard cellular south and digicell clients saying they can watch youtube videos.

how cool glad to hear someone else has seen cause I've heard about it.. when I bought my phone like 2 weeks ago, one of the workers there (who has a samsung finesse as well) said that youtube is going to be added but will take a couple of months and other new things also

I'm pretty sure that girl didn't know what she was talking about... I have my Fin with Cellular South and it does not play YouTube videos.

Ok, a really odd thing happened... Today I tried playing YouTube videos, and it worked!!!  I'm am completely bewildered.  Just a few weeks ago when I tried streaming any videos, I would get the bad file type error message, but now they work!!  We just got 3G on the Cellular South network, so could that make the difference?  I thought without the 3G network, that loading YouTube videos would just take too long to be of any use, but is it possible that it's not possible at all without 3G?

It's a funny story.  My dad and I have been using vuclip.com to download videos in order to watch them, but today he hit "stream" instead of "play"(which d/ls them) and it worked.  I tried it out, and it worked.  I then tried YouTube, and it worked!!  I'm baffled, in a good way, haha.

That is great news!!!
Finally a good result....I hope metro customers can begin experiencing the same results!

I still haven't purchased my Fin. so I couldn't know about those type of results for metro customers. Wink

i've been using my finesse on the metro network since they first came on the scene. no youtubing thus far. however myxer video downloads will never let you down, poor quality, but its a step. oh yea, vuclips dont work for metro pc-mess

I have had mines for a month now. Youtube works great. No problems at all. I'm currently with NTELOS. I guess each carrier has its ups and downs.

I only see four total videos on myxer. Is there a way to view more?
