I've been answering the Call of Duty since the first one and I ain't nothing less than a fanatic  Grin. I subscribed to a Google News alert for anything and everything new on the super-awesome-looking Modern Warfare 2. The most recent announcements are the box art, "regular", "hardened", and "Prestige" Editions. Estimates on the Prestige price are speculative at best but some (myself included) say anything from $149.99 to $199.99. Why? BECAUSE THEY HAVE FREAKIN' NIGHT VISION GOGGLES! Sooo is anyone here excited?

I don't really play FPS, although I will say pretty much all I play on my 360 is Left 4 Dead... (for some reason L4D resonated with me...)

I can't wait for L4D2 personally!

But, I will say that night vision goggles, that sounds ridiculous!  How will they interface/interact with the game though is my question?

They won't! It isn't a peripheral its just for crazy dudes who are willing to pay $150+ for a special edition. **cough**ME!**cough**

haha...

Understandable.  I was thinking that they'd interact with the game...  Pretty lame that it's just a paper weight.  Definitely good for the COD fanatics!

Do you play L4D by any chance?  If so, what's your gamertag?

[The only games I have for my 360 are: Left 4 Dead, Street Fighter 4, and Bully.  I've had NO games really pique my interest and have been playing L4D ever since!]

I haven't played L4D in a while but I bought as soon as it came out and i remember loving it. Hard as crap though! Going on vacation in a few days (!;D!) so I'm not gonna be on for a while, but just in case you're ever on, g.t is exactly NINJAI88 (with caps). Also you might wanna rent CoD 4 to c if you like it. it was THE live game of 2007 (and people are still playing by the thousands) so you can join the crazy CoD train!
