All of us probably have at least a basic understanding of things like batteries and capacitors. I'm just posting this because I've been following the progress of the development of something along these lines called
"EEStor".
Several recent news releases show that development has passed several milestones just this year. It could be possible that small cars and other devices (cell phones?) could be completely operated by these by the end of the year (
250+ miles per 5 minute charge at 75 mph for a car).
Something just sets better with me about the idea of plugging in our cars to a power outlet rather than filling up at a gas station. And for those of you who don't know, electrical cars have extreme torque ratios somewhat comparable to formula cars (search on youtube for video proof) which makes me very thirsty for this tech.
