so my friends just got the finesse and has this thing attached to the top with a retractable type stylus he said it came with the phone (wtf) he said he got it from metro and not second hand. i think he's an idiot and maybe where ever he got it just threw it in with the deal. it's pretty cool anyone else heard of or seen anything like this ?

your friend is telling the truth, there was a few first release of this phone that came with the retractable stylus as seem below from Samsung's website. Its an OEM product and could be purchased on E-bay for half the price:

yes sir, mines came with it and I bought my fin on may 20th, even says it on the box, having never had a touch screen it toook me 5 minutes to figure out what it was

dang thats crazy i got mine on april 6th and i got a stylus in the box with nowwhere to put it i guess now i gotta go apologize to my boy for calling him a idiot  dang |

str8 did your finesse come with a case as well, if so my case has a small pocket sewn on it where the stylus goes. The pocket is on the side opposite the volume keys on the case.

not at all i guess i got one of the first ones because all mine came with was the loose stylus and M:I card got mine on the 6th of april

well heres what i figured: If you hold your phone , look to the top left corner and then turn it to the side youll see a little slot, I just put the string attached to the stylus in that slot, strung it threw and presto, dont know if this was the intendede use because is a lil annoying when Im on phone and its knocking against back of phone

i had bought one in march and it had a very simple a cheap stylus with no way to attach it to anything lol, like it was made to be lost and i almost did. Well i had to return it because metros customer service doesn't knoow what they're doing. The second one i bought off ebay at a way better price through an auction in may and it came with a newer one that looks so nice.

i bought mine on july the 3rd and it came with the new stylus that you can attach to your phone via the string. but i took it off after a while because it was so annoying how it kept hitting against the back of my phone and the screen.

Me and my gf upgraded @ the same time. She got the attached stylus and I didn't. But I did get the MIP videos instead of her though.
