I saw this on another forum (i forgot what one...i have soooo many)

What if we had a group of people "chip in" to get a developer rights from qualcomm. Digitally notarize 100 applications for $400.

Then make some apps, sign them and post them here for every one to share!

All signing up for the developer info is here:
http://brew.qualcomm.com/brew/en/developer/getting_started/get_authenticated.html

like the title says... its just a crazy idea.  Grin

I was toying around with a type of donation system in my head to do this.

To make it work;
1. We should affiliate it with HowardForums and for the BREW environment.
2. There should be a plan to develop at least 1 app to appear in some carrier's product line, to recoup $ (so it's more like an investment instead of a donation).

1. Howardforums might not like this idea. They have new STRICT rules on stuff to do with brew.

2. the way it seems to work (correct me if i am wrong)..

You become a developer and make a app... then you have 2 options on what to do with the app. Submit it to qualcomm for TrueBrew (or something like that) and the second option is like a test it on your own phone option. If you wish to submit it to qualcomm, they test it and make sure it works well, then they do market research to see if anyone will even want to buy it. At that point the app could land flat on its face and be dead.

Also do the many different types of phone, certain apps need more memory or processing power.

So side tracking qualcomm's system to upload apps, even if we have a developers licence, i dont think they will like it to much. Thats why i was thinking of keeping it low key, and to one type of phone.. DA FIN!

NOW... here is 2 of my next crazy ideas...

-WE MIGHT NOT NEED BREW AT ALL!!  Grin
-I am working on a brew hack  Roll Eyes

I will post more info when it becomes available...  Wink
