This is a temporary sticky thread. Quicker this way since it hits on the issue so well. I posted the solution to this in the HowTo section under the post "Camcorder Timer Issues".

Go to your camcorder, hit the middle left button (movie reel looking thing, should be), and hit "Normal". The other option is a Video Msg which is limited to 15 seconds. Just realize that normal mode goes by drive space, so you might want to ensure it's set to record to a microSD first if you're doing long video.
