Lol, it's been less than a week and the stylus is nowhere to be found. I wouldn't have minded another 1/8" added to the phone for a stylus carrier! Grr.

The only complaint i can really make about this phone so far is just that.  I don't know where to put the damn stylus. It finally found a home in my wallet.  I haven't really used it much other than to draw on pictures for something to do.

Our solution was the GOLLA bag. Still didn't help the previous situation of being absent minded and it still got lost. We now use a DS stylus. Here's what seems like an exact replacement.

Stylus? I lost the box, or I should say it was stolen out of my car. No manual (grabbed off the Samsung website), but had to get a charger and USB cable. Did the unit come with any drivers/apps cd? I think the stylus is a prduct of poor design. There should have been a slot for you to place it in when not in use. Wouldn't have made the Fin that much larger.

Here's another stylus, with a strap and screw on cap. Should be able to attach it to the Fin, though it dangling outside of the case may be somewhat of an aggravation. Still, you won't lose it, that is unless you lose your phone Cry. Sign up for the metroGUARD Insurance ($4.00 monthly) and you'll be good to go...

metroPCS has the worst insurance ever. to replace the phone it iwll cost 80.00 + your 4.00  then it will cost more for the paperwork faxing shipping n handling. i feel it would be cheaper to just buy a new phone.

just my opinion. lol as for the stylus, mine is still in the origanal bag. i dont use it because i fear loosing it.. lol

I thought it was $50.00, but I could be wrong. Another point is that the policy does not become effective UNTIL the first payment is received (ie. after the initial free month). Still, for right now, I'd rather spend the 80.00+ than another 350.00. Your point is well taken, though. I'm seriously considering squaretrade as an insurance carrier, but I've heard they've jacked up the replacement cost, which I believe used to be free, and that's assuming they'll even cover it. I'll check and get back with info.

Squaretrade will cover the phone for 2 years for 96.00. Unfortunately, there is a 50.00 deductible and does not cover lost/stolen phones, only accidents. If you lose the phone, you will receive a refund, though they don't say if it's pro-rated or full.  Looks like I'll have to keep on looking...

The asurion deductible for the finesse is $85, which to me, seems pretty fair in comparison to paying the full $350 again. Bad news is it does take 30 days to go into effect, so be extra careful with your phones for the first month! I dont think that they charge for shipping and handling though, they send you a box with a replacement phone, and a return ticket to send it back with,  if you still have the handset. What i dont understand is that people gripe about this when all other carriers use the same insurance company, and AFAIK Verizon charges $6/mo for insurance...

actually there is a Samsung Stylus that has a loop to loop it and haNg it from the left top corner loop slot. The stylus says Samsung on it, its Black and silver and looks like it should have been sold with the phone. Its Samsung product code is AASY300SBEBSTD. It you google that code, then you will see a pic of it. I got one and I have it looped and hanging on the side of the phone. This way you have a stylus at your immediate use and it won't get lost, also for those of you who hate finger prints on your screen protector (invisible shield) or screen and want to prevent them, this is perfect. All you do is pull the style out and use it and don't have to constantly rub the screen on you shirt or pants or skirts to remove the finger prints from your screen.....(Heh!! I did that in the begining and got tired really quickly of doing that everytime)...LMAO!! Cheesy  Grin

The con is that its little heavy and long and some people have told me they don't like how it looks hanging from the corner (like i care what they think, i love it!) Its like a little pen (1 1/2" long) with a top and you pull the pen out, use and place it back, with presure and its just hangs there.

hey guys, not sure if you noticed this or not, but at the top of the phone on the corner theres a little indent thing, if u push the stylus cord thru there u can attactch it to your phone permanently.  not sure if thats what u guys meant or if u were just losing the other half, but if it helps cool Smiley
