Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone had any luck returning a phone to Metro?  I was told when I called my local store that I could return a phone for full cash if I had less than an hour talk time, but since I have more than 1 hour of talk, I could return the phone for full store credit (with the obvious exception of scratches and what not).  Has anyone done this?

I plan on trading in my Fin for the Blackberry, and yes, I know I gotta pay more money, but it'll be totally worth it when I have ring tones I can hear, YouTube videos, an actual keyboard instead of the accident prone touch screen, etc. etc.

Ok, so it turns out Metro's return policy is that if you went over your hour of talk time and can't get a full refund, they'll only give you $50 store-credit for your old phone, regardless of the condition, phone type, etc.  So my attempt to trade in a $349.99 Finesse, was only going to get me $50.

So I'm going to buy the Blackberry Curve from Metro, and give the Finesse to my girlfriend.  I'll come back later and let you all know how the Curve stands up to the Finesse, pros, cons, etc.  This should help those of you unsure about which Metro Smart Phone you want make up your mind.

The Curve has a lot more apps right now (including radio). I think you'll be overall happy with the switch if you have the money for it. You may want to consider getting a best buy type phone and configuring it with metro for the $75 policy.

Though I am disappointed to hear there's no MetroNavigator on the Curve.  Radio for GPS, we'll see.

I would take battery charge time into consideration as well. It comes with a 900mAh, but if it manages power better it might give you much more feature time per charge.

I'll live with the battery, I'm just not sure about the apps and what not.  Lack of MetroNavigator... Streaming YouTube videos.  I know, I know, I should stop procrastinating and get the Blackberry, but the place I gotta go to to buy the Curve is INSANLEY busy, like 3 hours of waiting, I feel like I'm at Disney World.  I'll get it, lol, trust me!

You cant hear the ringtones?  Thats one of the reasons I want to upgrade from the LG Spyder Ive had for 2 mounths now.  I miss 1/2 my calls cuz I never heard it ring.

Yeah, the phone is kinda low in terms of ringtones.  That's why I just leave mine on vibrate anyway!  Wink

You dont travel do you? Because the bb8330 is not AWS, so you better hope you dont travel out of the legacy markets!!

Also, doesnt the bb curve have Blackberry Maps? That makes up for the lack of metronav...
