The speed of what? The internet on the Fin is the same as my old Slvr, 1X. 3G is not available in all places Sad If you were talking about the phone in general, I have noticed a slight lag when exiting apps that connect to the web, including the browser. Hope this helps Smiley

honestly, i have not found it to be that much slower to... let's just compare it to the iphone... i was actually impressed with the speed (always i'm on 1x)

1x is comparable to 56k. Yes, it is a bit faster but still very comparable.

when you exit something that needs internet to work it will exit slow if your message's are up to 50 or more thats why i delete mines so it can exit faster.

MetroPCS is supposed to be a leader of 4g/LTE carriers, but have said in many ways that they plan to skip 3g. Unfortunately, the Finesse isn't 4g as far as I know.

Just so everyone out there 1x is actually 3g. most companys on there phones such as verizon spriny when it says evdo that really means 3.5g. 1x is just plain 3g. so when your smartphone is in evdo mode which is only availble in boston new york la vegas detroit and dallas your really using 3.5g

But whenever my friend's iPhone is out of range, it switches from 3G to 1x. :|a

The specs are bandwidth ratings that have changed over time. I don't think this is accurate.
