Well I got my phone 2 days ago, and the rep said I was the first customer to purchase one. They didn't even know how to set it up for activation.

Anyway, I LOVE the phone! All the features thus far are superb. Samsung even threw a micro sd card in there with 3 FULL movies! Unlimited EVERYTHING for just $50! My only complaint, is not being able to view videos on youtube. The 3gp format isn't supported with the phone (please let me know if some of you have found a way around this).

Look forward to learning and experiencing more with the phone!

Hey everyone! Im new here, but not new to the forums! Im an "expert assistant" over at www.lg-vu.com, and my girl is getting the finesse soon. So i thought i'd join. Maybe this site will grow to the size of our Vu site, and get some experienced modders/theme designers....i know this phone is still quite new, but does anyone know if there's gonna be any themes, hacks for it? Im going to start my research, and just maybe we can get things going here. The Vu is so hackable its silly! I have endless themes on it, and many great hacks! Maybe some of that can be ported to the Finesse....who knows...

But I'll be checking back, as i am always on at my Vu site...(logged over 13 days, and have over 750 posts!) Hope to see this forum grow to something huge! If the staff here needs any help/mods to keep things clean, PM me. Im always checking up on things...you can say im addicted...LOL See everyone around!

I got my phone a few days ago and I'm in a love a little bit. Haha. I was THISCLOSE to getting the Blackberry but I decided last minute on the Finesse. Can't wait for this forum to get going and for more apps.

You need a microSD adapter. Should be able to pick one up almost anywhere. Newegg, buy.com, etc. Your local pc outlet should also have them. Might also try Best Buy.

Thank you for the information on the adapter.  I bought I try to open the sd card and it works but when I try to add a song it says that the card is full that I need a new disk.  Anyone with the same problem.

If you're using the 2GB card that came with the phone, the one with the Mission Impossible trilogy on it, you can't write to or format it because it's locked at the factory. You'll have to buy another one.

If it's some other card, browse the contents and see what's on it. If it's nothing you need, just format it.

BTW, make sure that the adapter isn't locked. (small white knob(?) to the left of the adapter front face). If it is you won't be able to write to the card, since it forces it into write protected mode. This does not appear to be your problem, it's just FYI.

Thank you I try to add another 2gb sd card and work great.  The only problem I had is that I save some ringtones that I had on that sd card and it does not play on my phone is there a program I could use to make my own ringtones to use on my phone.  Also,  is there way I could convert some youtube videos into a formatt that I could see them on my Finesse. If I could that would make the trick for me I love this phone.

Change the mp3 extention to qcp and put them in a My_Ringtones folder on the card. You might want to use an audio tool, like audacity to clip the best (maybe loudest) 30 seconds of the mp3.
