Probably a support issue. I'd contact Samsung. Anyone else with a solution?

I haven't tried BT on my pc (netbook, no BT) but I have an adapter on order. Love to see if it works. This phone really needs PC Studio!

But to your question. It may be a while before you get the BT kinks worked out, so in the meantime, if you have a USB port on your Mac, grab a pocket card reader like this one here:

http://www.iogear.com/product/GFR291TF/

Says it will work with a Mac. I have one that looks exactly like the IO gear one, though it says Kingston. Probably a re-brand of the IO. Works like a charm and no need for an microSD adapter (PC) which I keep losing. Hook it to the Fin and you'll always be assured of reliable data transfer.

Costs about 14.00. I used it with an 8GB generic microSD card and it works flawlessly. Good luck

I had this problem yesterday. You probably have the mini memory card that came with the phone inside. You have to remove the card first and then try bluetoothing the ringtones again.

It's trying to put the music in the mini memory card but the MI3 one is read-only.

Remove the memory card and try again. If/when you get one for the phone, you won't have to do this again.

I hope this helped.

I have a mac and I can put MP3 files on just fine on the card.  #1  Format the SD card while inside the phone... while in phone, go to settings, then memory manager, then select format card and it will do so.  Then put the card into the comp and put the mp3 files in the music folder.  For ringtones, it's mp3 format and just put it in there too.  Now, here's the catch.  If by chance that you have been buying music from Itunes, then they are locked and you cant use them. ... but heres the loophole as well.  You can burn a CD and it will convert to W>wav format, then when you pull them off, use windows media player and convert them to Mp3 and that should release the lock.  Long stretch but it works.
