Okay i just bluetoothed tons of ringtones from my sister phone to my phone and instead of it going to my ringtones it went directly to my mp3 player. The type of ringtones she have are mp3 made but i wonder why it keeps doing that. Should I remove my memory card and see if it does it again? because all of my mp3 music is on the memory card.

Because the song is mp3 if you have microsd in it will save to ur microsd thinkin its a song for ur music player. Takein out ur card will send the mp3 ringtone to ur ringtone folder n not the music player

In my experience, you don't necessarily have to remove your memory card to resolve this. To keep the ringtone without having to first remove your memory card and repeat the bluetooth process all over again: Plug in your usb cable to the phone and computer. Locate the ringtone in the My_Music folder. Cut and paste the tone from the My_Music folder to the Ringtones folder. Disconnect your phone from your pc. Then from the phone's main menu, select Settings, and select setting option 7 - Memory Manager. Then select option 5 - Card Memory. Now select Ringtones from the drop down menu. Select: Move, then touch the desired ringtone(s) to select it. The selected tone should now have a red checkmark next to it. Select Move once more to process. This will remove the ringtone off your memory card and place it in the Ringtones folder of your phone. The file should only register on the mp3 player if stored in the card's ringtones folder (I believe). I hope this helps!
