OK, you all might scoff at me and even throw me off the forum...but I had this idea, and I was wondering if xbox or anyone who is knowledgable could possibly tell me if this could work, or if its even worth doing.

So today I was hanging out with my friend, and he has the Samsung Eternity. I dont know if you all know this, but the Eternity is litterally THE EXACT SAME PHONE as the Finesse. Widget bar/general same widgets messaging os layout just simply with more functions. im telling you, i played with this phone guys, and its EXACTLY like the finesse. look it up, see if you can find someone on youtube to see someone playing with it. It seems to me, that instead of writing a whole new firmware/os for the finesse, possibly we could somehow flash the Eternity to the finesse, and then from THERE, add onto it. I havent done any research on the development of the eternity, but im willing to bet theres been some major advancements, seeing as how (in my opinion) the only phone that tops the eternity would be the iPhone (excluding other smartphones window mobiles and blackberry type shindigs) and god knows the iPhone is jesusinaphone, im sure their people have long since busted through.

All I know is this. xbox and co. managed to get a new firmware up and running, with whatever bugs it may have, which obviously means its possibly to somehow completely rewrite the phone, and it only makes sense if we could find the eternity .dll firmware blahblahblah (im not TOO technically minded in this area) we could get it onto the finesse. ALSO, assuming the eternity community is working as hard as everyone here, im sure they've figured out how to hack it like pro's by now. meaning, if we flashed the eternity onto the finesse, we will have skipped what im sure is going to be another year of development.

im quite sure i could get my friend to lend me his eternity so if it IS possible, and someone wanted to give me step by step instructions, i would be able to get whatever you needed off the phone. perhaps, however, that information is already available and just a google away

if this is all crazy and is in no way possible, just let me know and ill delete the thread in shame :-(
