I had a question. How do you move a ringtone from "My Ringtones" to "My Sounds".....? Because I want to be able to send ringtones but it doesn't let me.

Did you look at the "MORE" in my ringtones? It looks like you can move a ringtone from there,

I have looked in the MORE section & it wont let you send a ringtone unless you do it via bluetooth. I can't figure out how to send a ringtone that I downloaded either. Anyone have any ideas?

A single file can either be a ringtone or a sound, not both. That's what I came to find out. Not really fair.

I know this does not solve your question, but I thought I would share my related discovery...a friend had sent me a text message with a ringtone (in an mp3 format) attached. With the message open, I clicked the more button, then save attached file. *Note: My 8 gig SD card was in the phone. The file automatically saved to the My Sounds folder. Once I opened the mp3 file in the My Sounds folder, an option to send file via messege or bluetooth was available. There was, however, not an option given to copy/move the file to the memory card. I believe the post above stating a file can either be a ringtone or a song (but not both) is correct, since I don't see a My Sounds folder when I access my memory card on my pc.

A possible quickfix would be to mms the song to yourself?

I put all my ringtones on my memory card and from there u can also add ur ringtones on to u sounds. Like when u plug ur fone into the computer and it says view files click that then whatever ringtones you have downloaded to ur computer for ur fone move those to my sounds section

hope this helps
