Here is a program called .MIF_unlocker

This program will "patch" the .MIF file of a Brew app or game to make it unlimited time usage!

So download the demo of a game and patch the .MIF with this tool, and it should be as if you paid big bucks for it.... LOL

Secondly the program says you can select a option of "restore" for the .MIF file. This will allow the app or game to be downloaded to you phone simply by just adding the .MIF file to the phone!!  Shocked

Now, we need to have a DB of MetroPCS app and game .MIF's.... just install the .MIF to you phone and "re-download" the actual app or game.  Roll Eyes

I have tried to patch some .MIF's i have on my puter. It seems to work. BUT once again... i gont have the FIN yet to really try it!  Grin

WARNING: This is not my software, i am not responsible if you brick you phone!

I endorse and encourage use of this tool, and others, only for honest use. This means basically that you have already purchased an unlimited app, deleted it to save space, and want it back now. This tool will let you do that.

Sweet. Now if we could only access the filesystem Roll Eyes

For those of you who don't quite understand the software, there's a readme.

As for the file system, i have requested MobelEdit to add the device to the list of supported phone. I have been using their software for years.

The MIF unlocker is used on a computer to turn a demo to full. As of right now you can not copy brew files from the fin to your PC. Even if you did the MIF from the phone is encrypted, so you would need to make a new MIF with "Brew MIF editor"

You can use BREW MIF Editor from QCOM...

But it is "useless"...

1.
MIF files are encrypted on R810.
Means not humanreadable and not from the MIF Editor...

Accept the ORIGINAL files. Which you can find in folder after install R810 DLL on PC.

2.
Changes to MIF leads to useless *.sig file.
As it is then not more valid. SIG files stores the Hash Values of each file. Especially MIF + MOD

Sorry not too good with programming. I think what you are saying  is that once the mif is edited it cannot be used anymore because the sig is no longer valid. Is that what you meant?
