If your like me (hates searching for songs to add to playlists) then you might find this post useful.

To edit your M3U Finesse playlist it's very simple.

1.) Open Notepad

2.) If you know your phones directory (My_Music/) and you know how your mp3's are typed out (example below)
My_Music/Disturbed/Disturbed - Facade.mp3
My_Music/Disturbed/Disturbed - Inside The Fire.mp3
My_Music/Disturbed/Disturbed - Killing You Now.mp3

3.) Type the songs you desire on your playlist into notepad and save in mass storage mode to your Fin as
("playlist name here".m3u) to your My_Music folder and your done.

Does the Finesse register over 200 songs when you do it this way?

Yay! It worked w/no problems at all. At first, I was like, duuuuh, thinking perhaps you meant write the file names in the Fin's Memo Pad, but then I looked at the computer's programs and opened up Notepad. Derrrr me! Ha ha. Anyway, very, very cool! I wish there was a way to re-arrange the files in the playlist, as opposed to creating a new one all together...

Good find, much appreciated!!!

I have been successful in creating an .m3u playlist with over 200 songs via the notepad! Uhhh ha ha my bad for not taking the time to read all the posts here, but has creating a playlist with over 200 songs or even just adding more than 200 songs to the player been an issue before (you know, besides the usual Ghettro Samsung Fin joy of having the software freak out and either freeze or completely shut down the phone)?

The model does have some cool features, but I can't help but relate it to the feeling of logging off of a computer nowadays and then reverting back to some old school dial up hell!

Anyway, I was also able to re-arrange the files in any given playlist by cut and paste in the notepad (editing both playlists created via notepad and created directly from the phone). It's a bit time consuming, but still HELLA better than having to search and add files to a new playlist just to have them in the order you want!
