Has anyone else successfully replaced the digitizer on their Finesse?  It's very similar to an iPhone but the touchscreen is actually plastic.  You need a heat gun and some patience.  I didn't take any pics, but I figured I'd ask if anyone else has done it.

If you get it already attached to the front frame it should be fine.  It will be used of course but it will make the job of fixing the Samsung Finesse with cracked screen much easier.

The digitizer is plastic on the front. Below it is glass then underneath it is the LCD screen. I replaced mine successfully but did some small dings on my lcd screen which still works.

It would be best to take the phone apart with the screws from the back, don't take the screen out first lol.

I just replaced mine today. Removal was tricky but patience helped. It was attached with a tape from factory which you can order online but I used automotive emblem adhesive applied through a syringe. Works perfect.
I have no idea what I am going to do with the phone because I never activated it. I just bought it from a friend because he said I could not fix it......I did....now I have an MP3 player/alarm clock...LOL
