ok first im new to the site . and im the kind of person that never reads the manual , i just turn it on and get to work . well i have noticed that when playing a video , you just turn your phone counter clock wise and it goes to full screen ... then turn it back and its back to normal .. i just thought that was a neat lil  thing that they have on there ...

Yep. It has what is called an accelerometer.

Works while viewing pictures as well.

Huh. I read that this phone did not have an accelerometer. Cool if it does. I'm gettin it tuesday regardless Smiley

well it does have one but its limited to when youi viewing full size pictures and video... maybe we can do more with it...

Yep, though it's a bit sloppy in its application. The Ipod Touch/IPhone is much smoother. Still, very nice...

I'd like a setting where if you have the phone vertical, it defaults to dialpad input. If you have it horizontal, it goes to qwerty input. I'd also like 2 different desktops and so on, but that can wait.

Wow, I thought for sure this phone didn't have an accelerometer, I even read in reviews that it didn't!  I've had this phone for almost 2 weeks and never noticed this until now.  Nice find!

no its not cool-it sucks. with video, try the auto- full screen and the volume up becomes volume down. or try and watch something while holding the phone in your hand- it will jump back and forth between full screen and partial screen. thumbs down

It only jumps because you have the phone flat. Stand it up, flip it, then lay it flat.

I read in reviews that it did not have a accelerometer, but then I found out it did that after a few days, and I was think wtf.  Maybe early versions did not, or the reviewers just sucked.

Anyways, I would really love a auto qwerty pad when its turned too. At this point, I am thinking we will never unlock the full potential of this phone, and I am about to start looking at ways of getting a iphone or new blackberry on metropcs.  I may just wait until 4g is network wide, and see what phones they have avaliable with 4g.

my version is
S/W V. R810.CG23

Browser NF3.5
@metro V. 3.1.5.142
H/W V. R810.02
It has new functions like if you have the phone vertical, it defaults to dialpad input. If you have it horizontal, it goes to qwerty input in text messages.
Also the mp3 does not have the 200 songs limitation Grin
and has accelerometer functions when browsing videos and pics.
But im having problems with the internet Browser is like is not HTML before I could see yahoo in HTML not in this version Undecided
