For DUN you will need to use the SamsungPST AND have the R810 DLL...... I have seen it the setting for DUN, but i have not turned it on for my phone... no need to  Grin

I can try to find the NV item Index number and let you know what it is so you can change it...

Update:
6139   NV Item  NV_DUN_MODE_I

see image below!

If you dont know what a NV item is, you probably should do A LOT or reading first!!
I have killed 2 phone by messing up the NV items

You may be interested to know that the 10 digit code goes to "TEST Menus". But you already knew that. Thanks for the info, topic updated till I get another battery so I can update it more!

Just went into Test Mode, and I see we need more basic info about it. Besides turning it off, how do you get out? Also, can you explain the steps for changing an NV item? And remember guys, this is along the lines of messing with the registry in windows. Complete power, creation and destruction. Still, I wish they had kept it to MS DOS debug.

@ybom:
To escape should be 002 ..."should"
I have NOT used this, so i am 100% unsure.... above is the list of commands and what each command is.

As for the NV items... download QMAT
http://revskills.de/
If free, but only for 10mins, then it shuts down... but then you can restart it for another 10min  Grin

Look at the image above... you can see how to read the NV... the next command is to write the NV item.

VERY IMPORTANT!!!! do not change Item#0 and Item#1943.... these are your ESN and MEID

System Info
1. Menu
2. Settings
3. Press on the voice button
4. Generic User Code, SPC, or MSL
    System Info Map
    [1] Debug Screen
    [2] Test Calls
    [3] Voice SO
    [4] Port Map
    [5] Force Mode
    [6] HDR Setting
    [7] BREW Setting
    [8] MMS Setting
    [9] Bluetooth Testmode

I have a 10th option on this menu that says Data Setting. Most likely because of my service provider (Cellcom). In that menu I have options for 1. DUN Mode, 2. MIP Mode, and 3. ID/PW Type.

Just thought I'd share. Tongue

I can confirm that even setting perpay to off with the Samsung PST.... WILL NOT MAKE APPS FREE!!!

After changing the setting... i went to get a app, it said it was free, but the app failed to DL.... App store then exited, then i went back to try again... then it said it would cost money again, but the app still failed to DL. Not untill i changed it back to prepay, did the apps fully download.

xboxhacker, it sounds like you really do know a lot about cell phones, may i ask you a favor? Do you think you could make a short easy-to-follow tutorial to explain us how to use our fin as a modem and make it work? This would be REALLY appreciated, for me as well than all the ppl out there who wanna know how to tether with their fin... and enjoy unlimited internet everywhere. Wink

And im sorry, i dont really know much about NVs...
