which version of qpst are you using?

2.7 build 301

i've been using 264... i jus searched for 301 and came across this one

there is a way to convert .jar into BRew which is our form for apps.....Just like apple we have our own developer sites and sdk also...so like you said time will tell i just downloaded the BREWSDK... which ull find on the Qualcomm website

as far as syncing without usb...i use IVT Bluetooth software very compatible and also useful. heads up tho....dont try to copy .jar files via bluetooth wil get error "unsupported file"

try changing from 32x bit to 64x but with another internal hardrive i have a 64 ill try it out...we gota get this so we can make the finesse news lol

oh you have a 64bit to ... maybe you could help me ... i did it once and now it seems that i can not assign the phones com port . i looked in the device manager like before to change it but now it dont show . so when i start up qpst it dont even see the phone , i tried reading up on it http://support.microsoft.com/kb/817900   i tried it idk ... as for Method 3: Disable and re-enable the USB controller . none of them show the name of the usb devise so i dont know if its the right one ill be disabling . i know that the computer sees it on my computer is (m:) drive . and the phone says pc connection mode ...

ok after some time working on the dang thing i got it going now to were i can assign it a port on 64bit , dont know why , read up on it that it has to do with vista and plunging and unplugging a usb devise will render the devise inoperable. going to try to BREW  something up  ..

uninstalled every thing that had to do with the phone . all the drivers . then insall them again . but its happening again it seems like it goes the first time and thats it .. idk why ?

are you talking about the actual drivers or the driver that u get from QPST? is there a physical driver for this phone?

the drivers for the phone ... i dont know about xp and vista 32 but with ours it should have 5 ..
samsung cdma modem driver set
samsung mobile modem driver set
samsung mobile usb modem 1.0 software
samsung mobile usb modem software
samsung pc studio 3 usb driver installer


it just may be 1 or 2 that needs to be reinstalled but i did them all , didnt feel like trial and error ... Cool

u kno what is im on my new hp mini laptop running os xp i think when i get home i just might upgrade with my vista premium....but i want to have the drivers on xp and vista just in case......u never know vista crashes alot i have vista and xp both running on my desktop im soon to put mac on it also.....there are werk arounds and we seem very close

im with you on the macs i hate them....but now guess what i came across...i just found our solution for OS xp....now time to get to werk....http://www.smscaster.com/download_driver_usb_data_cable.htm....it mainly covers all drivers for the phones and it has the one you talked about for vista.....Lets get to werk!
