I was doodling with the phone. and converted my videos to mp4 to place on my finesse but the movies were still 4 to 500 megs in size.  while im not complaining it is a limit to 3 or 4 movies on a 2gig sd disk.

this got me thinking? is there a way  to shrink the size of the movies to get more on it. then while looking at the package, i say that a 2 gig sdcard holds up to 11 hours of videos.  then it dawned on me
the finesse supports 3g2 files. so i converted a 700 meg video to 3g2 and not only was the quality great. it was compressed down to 144 megs.

allowing me to place more videos on the same sd disk.

try it. Smiley

3gp is not supported on the finesse.  i tried it.  sometimed it works  some times it dont.

2 Gig SD??    I have an 8 gig in mine.    Tested with 4 first, then went to 8  last weekend.
It will handle upto 16 that I know of. I will test higher  later on.

The best software out there that I've seen is Xilisoft.  I have converted ANY video (even the .fl ones that you download with RealPlayer from youtube) and it works on the phone.  There are a whole bunch of others, but don't work as great.  You can also try the New PC Studio from Samsung.  Its free and it works pretty well, but it has given me a problem with some videos.
Hope that helps.
