Yes, I see what you mean; however, the voice command seems to only open for me (while listening to music via earphone headset, not any bluetooth goods) by *half* removing the jack and pressing the voice command button directly on the phone...and even though I have recalibrated the voice recognition a couple times now, I usually want the simultanious music and internet features while i'm on a super loud bus or train!
I must look HELLA challenged   repeating the same commands over and over again ha ha, and at that point of being stared at by a large number of fellow commuters and having the sudden urge to throw the whole thing out the window, I usually just shut the music off to check the net for the 30 seconds I needed it for in the first place.

 Aaaauuuuggggghhhhh! LOL. As i've said before, most of the time using this phone feels like logging off of a computer nowadays and reverting back to some old-school dial up HELL, ha ha.
 
Still, better than no multi-tasking at all (usually)!
