OK IT DOES WORK BUT YOU CANT SEARCH FOR YOUTUBE AND EXPECT IT TO WORK THE SITE YOU MUST GO TO IS M.YOUTUBE I GUESS ITS MOBILE YOU TUBE AND FROM THERE U CAN WATCH THE VIDS LOW RES THO

Hi, Metro Users. I'm a straight talk user and I still can't see youtube.  It shows video.3pg at the top of the player and then a message comes up that says unsupported. |

I have Metro PCS and my samsung finesse did the same thing as the straighttalk user. Is it because I bought my fone in August 2009 and the firmware isn't updated? My browser is vers 3.4 I bellieve. And the Metro PCS rep on the fone also said they still DO NOT support youtube so idk how you lucky ppl got it to work on your fones.

Yup, I didnt even call Metro or anything, I just tried my Youtube and its working all by itself, id recommend hitting the pause button after it starts for a bit, before playing it so it isnt choppy and skipping pixels and audio.

I have had the $50 plan sense i got my phone, i went in last month to see if there were multiple $50 plans but there wernt, I have had it for almost a year and i still dont have youyube...

this sucks badly they said i had the 50$ plan, they say i have the smart phone plan...and they said some fones works other doesnt work and that it was a problem from metro pcs. this really sucks |

ok i called and had them reset my 50 dollar plan and refresh my phone but it still says unsupported media type when i try to run videos from youtube an m.youtube ?? and my phone is netfront ver 3.5 i dont know whats up with it but it still dont work |

I have Straight Talk and I can't get Youtube to work either...but I went to m.break.com and I can download the videos to my phone. They come with a short ad but still works.

 Im mad ppl hear but dont listen!..read..but dont comprehend..smdh..  STOP ASKING METRO REPS WHAT KIND OF PLAN YOU HAVE!!! till this day metro reps are still telling me the finesse doesnt support youtube streaming..nd i've been streaming youtube now for what? like 3 months?? lol Those metro reps'll prolly tell you we can never put a man on the moon!!  Call metro and Tell Them..not ASK Them.. you want the flat rate smartphone plan. dont bother telling them what you want it for, dont explain anything..for obvious reasons..lol. JUST DO IT!!

If you have the $50 plan from last year, and you're paying extra taxes, that is NOT the new $50 plan from this year, which is a flat 50.......
