Hello. Thanks. Got my SPC, used QPST 3.7 entered the SPC and it read it and displayed a different phone number, but showed the banner message I had. Don't want to brick this boy. This happen to everybody? I used the SPC finder. Man I feel like a rat to keep asking but uh cats across the street are playing with the wifi and i'm bout to finesse these pip squeeks.

Sorry...I dont remember that happening, but I did it so long ago, and it wasnt my phone, was doing it for a customer. I just remember following xbox's instructions ver batim, after finding a good copy of CDMA workshop (wink wink) that I could write back to the phone, that was the only stumbling block I had...sorry I cant help more. I have an iPhone..much easier!!!

Updated: 5-12-10

If you use the Samsung PST and R810DLL, you DO NOT need to use QPST!!
Skip over the QPST info and goto the Samsung PST section.

the "HOW TO":
In Samsung PST goto settings. Check the EV-DO box and click "read form phone".....
After the read is complete the items will be populated on the right hand side of the screen.

Change all: (your number)@modem.metropcs.com to (your number)@pda.metropcs.com
Change DUN to "enabled"

Then click "Write to Phone"

hey, my fin reset itself somehow and i am now locked out of my phone. ive tried every lock code you can think of to get back in and none are working. plus its saying initial programing needed. what the hell has happened to my phone and how can it be fixed

Could someone post the r810 DLL?  The two links that alphabeta22 posted for the dll do not contain any files.  I have read all 10 pages of this thread and could not find it.  I also googled with no luck.


Do I have to put the r810 in diagnostic mode to connect it to QPST which is what you have to do with most phones?  If so, how do I put it in diagnostic mode?   I loaded the drivers and connected the phone in usb modem mode.  It shows up on com port 4, but when I added com 4 to qpst it says no phone.

please anyone!!!! i am ready to throw my f###ing finesse through a wall, i did everything that was outlined for DUN setup and i can see the data screen with the send and receive bars and it dials but it ALWAYS says error 691 wrong user name or password!!! AAAAAAHhhhhhhhh!!! XBOX please help! anyone! i can send screen shots of the pst settings or what ever but all the NAI say 9349898876@pda.mymetropcs.com and the DUN enabled is set to enabled, i have read 4million forums and all of them say i have it setup right, please help

This is a long shot...but try useing your SPC as your password. Keep the username the same.

i used the script in your sig and got my spc and that didnt work either it said error 691 still, is there a special driver you use for the modem driver, i used the latest one in the pc studio.

my modem is listed as SAMSUNG CDMA Modem #3
