So far, Ive stumbled across nothing that helps with ours causes. Random links that go to 3rd parties sites about a bunch of apps that are supposed to be put on the phone. Most of it are for other samsung phones. Yes there are a bunch of sweet downloads for BREW apps. Guess what I know nothing about hacking a phone... I read the FAQ on these but without knowledge of how my phone works from the inside this doesnt help

Im just frustrated that any info that is posted is just theories and mis information.

So please if you find an app do the rest of us a favor, make sure it works and or has been tested. By posting a bunch of links that lead to other phone downloads wastes our time.

Thanx...  Undecided

Will you at least trust my judgment to a degree if you're not willing to do original research on your own?

If so, please wait until the manual gets updated. A sticky topic with similar scope is planned as well.

If you want to keep studying things in this forum, you might have a bit of a wait before anything important gets posted (hence the benefit of finding and creating stuff via original research, which is where most of us are now).

The links i post and the ones i have seen on this forum have not be meant to be misleading. When you talk about hacking something you discuss "testing" it. So you need to test the apps to see if they work. If their was a 100% sure fire way to do it, you would be able to buy some program some ware and just do it. But thats not how "testing" works. its about trial and error... and more often than not... lots of errors. The links to software is to open avenues to testing for people who have the phone and can (and want) to test them. Once a system is found to work, it will be made into a manual for all to read. Right now were are at the "gathering of information" stage, this is just before the full hack Smiley

For those unwilling to test these apps on their phone, weather it be lack of knowledge or just plane scared, you should sit back and wait a little while. Keep in mind this phone is still kinda new, and rome was not built in one day.

Right on xboxhacker,

I am a professional Quality Assurance Specialist (software tester), and I can verify that software dev is like a bell curve. The first 6 months I was on my current project (www.totimm.com), the damn soldier's had no walking animations and every weapon used the same M4 magazine. With in a 1 1/2 month period, the platform became this beautiful, elegant and robust military simulation platform. Give the cycle some time... It will be well worth it, and the "Ah Hah!" moments along the way are priceless...

Disclaimer: I don't work for the military, I'm am employed with a SF Bay Area start up. I neither support or condone the past, present or future behavior of the Armed Forces. I am simply a virtual reality enthusiast and working father supporting my family at a job I absolutely love and am very proud of. Please don't flame me about the Military. I would love to talk about my job (seriously, ask my wife  Roll Eyes) for those interested though, as long as it isn't a debate on the ethics of creating software used to train people to kill people. That's not what it is about at all...
