xboxhacker, thank you so much for the info gathering. I almost feel overwhelmed enough to get my Fin connected to my pc. However, I won't because I'll be focusing on translating this forum into the manual.
However, with that being said, can you overwhelm us with more specific info about the stuff you find within your posts? I'm really interested in your thoughts behind finding this (like how you stumbled on it, and why you feel it's legit, and not so much how it made you feel, etc, lol).
Basically, all of us need to be using a similar system to what you're using (cept more descriptive).
SURE

I think i found this on Howardforum.com (another cell phone info site) Here is what i in the ZIP file.
Brew Programs:-Brew tools version 2.0
It is a qualcomm tool box for loading apps to the phone (no i dont know if it works), also for signing apps... this is the MOST important thing for making Brew Apps/Games... they wont run without a .sig file (signature file). But the down side is that you need to be a Brew Developer (and pay $400 per year) to have access to use the AppSigner program.
-Several versions of .MIF_Unlocker
This program makes the expiration date of your Brew App/Game NEVER expire. So you could be possible to download a demo game and patch it to never expire.
-GaGin 1.0
This is a app/Game loader, based on the qualcomm AppLoader from Brew Tools. (no i dont know if it works)
-Folder called Apploader
Here is the readme.txt
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
//
// ReadMe File for BREW AppLoader
//
/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Please note that the exe file and com file should have same name and should be in the
same directory. Please copy BREWAppLoader.exe and BREWAppLoader.com in the same directory.
Steps to run BREW AppLoader as a GUI Application
------------------------------------------------
1) Go to the directory where BREWAppLoader.exe is stored.
2) Double click on BREWAppLoader.exe OR type BREWAppLoader from shell prompt.
Steps to run BREW AppLoader as a CLI Application
------------------------------------------------
1) Go to the directory where BREWAppLoader.exe is stored.
2) Type BREWAppLoader <port name> <option> <parameters>
e.g. BREWAppLoader COM1 -v // To see list of BREW modules stored on the device
BREWAppLoader COM1 -s // To show used space and total space on the device EFS
BREWAppLoader COM1 -d simon // to delete module simon from the device
If you provide wrong option the Usage will be printed.
Known Issues
-------------
For Sharp, LG and Samsung phones following will change in AppLoader:
1) With Sharp and LG phones, BREWAppLoader will not show size of files, directories and
modules in the right hand side window.
2) AppLoader will also not show creation date for files in the RHS view window for these phones.
3) View-->Actual Size and View-->Allocated Size menu options will be disabled for these phones.
4) Status bar will show "Disconnected" if phone is not connected. Status bar will show
"Connected" (instead of showing used space and total space) if phone is connected.

Brew Apps and games:Nice list of games and apps for brew phones. No i dont know if any of them work on the fin. I will be testing as soon as i get one. Money is tight right now

Each app/game has a .sig file. Now it is said that your ESN is in the .sig file, thats why you cant load any old app to a new phone. On the forum i got the files from, some people had reported getting some of the apps/games loaded and working and some didnt work at all. The forum was geared for i think a LG style Brew phone... so here, results may very. But Brew should be Brew...
If a mod would like to make a sticky post of a collection of download-able programing content, i would be more than happy to help. just PM me

I got other programs too, like SDKs and such, let me know if you want them...i will post them.
As for the files being legit... YES, its just "will it work for us". The main reason of posting all this stuff is to get the apps/games WE want, and not pay out the ass for them. I believe in "open source"... we pay big bucks for the phone, we should have the stuff we want on it!
And now the million dollar question... Has anyone been able to transfer files with QSPT.. or is just a "file viewer" ? Hopefully Apploader with help us.
